Sunset is here :)

A beautiful sunset on my way back home.

I scorch you all day,

Leave you sweating your way

Here I leave to keep you cool,

And will be done by the moon.

Is it me or you?

Sometimes I wait for love,
But you never turned back.

Sometimes I give you love,
But you dint speak my language.

Sometimes I tried to be myself,
But you felt I was not right.

Sometimes I wait for you to approve,
But you just accept it.

Sometimes you have taken away what I deserved,
But you never cared for its significance.

Who is it?
Is it me or you?

Sixty four years of freedom

Mighty she stands as a nation

Though we trouble you as a prick

You bear us all with your love

You were trapped by invaders

Exploiting from the roots,

Were looted of your tenure, still

Were silent forbearing the pain.

We are building you to perfection

Balancing culture with technology

You will stand as a test of time

To care for your progeny.

Though far remote from you

Your name brings on a smile

Makes us walk head held high,

Wanting to be back in your arms.

Long live the Nation! Proud to be an INDIAN!!

“I am here for you “

We run for our lives, to make a living, to make a better living, to make more money, we are ready to leave our homeland for better prospects. It seems exciting at the beginning to survive until we encounter with a block or a little downfall.

In our busy lives, we sometimes forget the importance of relationships. Both husband and wife are working in most of the homes, as the needs have grown and toil day and night to make the ends meet. We take people for granted, hurt their feelings and don’t care for it until we are in need of their favor. When we are down with fever and unable to move even a muscle, a soul will be waiting beside you to touch your forehead and check the temperature. When you might feel it would be great if somebody cares for us, their eyes will reply you- “I am here for you”. This is what we ultimately need in a relation, their mere presence will give us strength and energy to shove away the blanket and take on our life.

Whatever life gives me

I will make it better for you,

I will make it easier for you

In times of distress and sickness

In times of success and happiness

I will always be here when,

you turn around in search of me.

Seismic jolt shakes us all, By raising the elixir as a wall; Invading the precious life And flooding the shelters of all. World lending its hand To lift the fallen from holocaust; Providing them basics, To revive their life in debris. Social networks throw light To find the loved ones in plight, From the voracious Monster, That swept away the hopes of future. Resurrecting from the past, Radiations posing newer risks To the clinging lives' grief, Impeding their recovery. Nature turns its back Freezing the homeless; Joining hands with radiation beast, To satiate their crave for life. This is not your destiny Your potent is no match; You shall rise as a phoenix, And shine as "The Land of Rising Sun" .

Our first Step together!!

Strangers were we sometime back

Tracing life on our own path;

Then we met in the name of matrimony

Beginning to search our future hand in hand.

There were times we yearned to see each other

Separated by long distance

Now we are in each other’s arms

Enjoying the marital bliss

I knew I was leaving my roots

To start a new chapter of life

But you replaced the most

Precious people in my life

You are my mother when you care

And my father when you recognize

You cherish me amidst your busyness

And understand my weakness

Today we have crossed a year

Giving us more of you and me

Knowing better and wanting each other

Overcoming our differences

I owe you these verses

As my love for you

To stand by your side

To reach our life’s pinnacle.

This is a tribute to my loving husband!

White Fairy!!!

An exquisite fairy peeping out

As an ocasional guest

Spreading around the merry

To kids and teens

Falling down as flurry flakes

Each one unique from the other

Reaching the ground without

Thrusting each other

Spreading a blanket uniformly

Without any inclinations

Calling out the kids to jump

 And play to mark their footprints

Making Snow mans at every corner

Kids Play throwing snow balls

And couples enjoying the weather

With a hot cofee and hands held together

Retreating from the sight

She turns the snow into crystals

Making them sheen

On the tree tops reflecting the sunshine.

Adorning the nature's beauty

Much in every different way

Awaiting to see you

On your next visit dear fairy!!

Hello My Dear...

She looked at me with love

Even when i was unable to move

She taught me to behave

With all those i have

She cried when i was hurt

And taught to be unhurt with all.

She made me grow

Standing by as a ladder

Herself  staying stunted 

Sacrificed all of hers'

To watch me shimmer.

Then came the day

She sent me away from her

For my betterment

With my memories lingering

In her thoughts and

Waiting for the phone to ring

And say "Hello kutty ma..."

Withdrawn

A cozy night, after a busy long day;

Engrossed in work with his laptop

Was her love unnoticing her presence.

Admiring him silently she was into the room,

Slithering  beside him in need of warmth;

She overspoke her mind in excitement.

Thoughts conveyed wrongly,

Turns her down, lost in his world.

Sensitive damsel unknowing her way to explain,

Retreats in silence

Awaiting his call.
