You are Three!!

Here is a tribute to my blog which has been a very good friend till date. Of course friends are with you forever, but they have their lives too and they get busy. This is when blog will be your best company, you can cry to it, or not even that, just write; it will wipe off all your tears. Scream your frustration away, it will soothe you. It will even find you new friends through blogger network who will be very supportive to your scribbling. (Thank you Indiblogger!!)

You have been here for Three,
Bringing out my artistry;
Turning my thoughts to phrase.

You have brought me friends,
Showed me the world trends
In all its faces.

Long live you, my blog,
I Love you for being,
And me in the making.

What every girl wants!!

What does every girl want in a guy?
A guy with heroic smartness?, a rich fellow who provides everything except himself?, someone who showers her with gifts, money and keeps the rest with phone call? NO!!!! We know all this right? Of course...

A simple man, with a passion at heart, an art to create fascination in his speech, activities sprinkled with a pinch of humor, who is awaiting to see her face glow on surprise/happiness, a shoulder to cry/bite when she is irritated, whom she can never get bored in spite of their lonesomeness,  one who trusts her all times, one who believes in her ability even when she doubts, at last a smile that welcomes the togetherness.

A New Start, A New Opportunity!

A new start to life,
To be a wonderful wife;
Reach out to my parents,
And be a caring daughter.

A new slate is here to scribble,
All my hits and miss;
To turn back on 31st,
And cherish the best.

I thank god for a new opening,
And this experience of life;
Which makes me unique,
With best and specks on me.

Change is here...

There have been times when you are popping up like a jack in the box on the arrival of your birthday. Going around telling people about your special day, showing off the new dress, talking about the gifts from parents, sharing chocolates. Those are the ages of ignorance with exuberance. Then you come across a few years where you feel weird before the celebration, a doubt of whether to boast about your birthday or to go unnoticed. This continues for a few years. Then you realize why do you get birthdays, why should we celebrate it. When you conceive this idea, it is the result of the effects of aging, but does it really means that we are aging or realizing about aging. Some people feel this even when they are in their twenty's and some don't feel even at fifty's. The notion has no effect on us but what we can do if we feel this at early age? Just wake up and be a kid again :)

Starbucks!! A Getaway friend :)

Am here to share my experience at a Starbucks near my home.

I have never been an ardent fan of Starbucks all these days. But it was a real comforting friend when I needed a change. It was a lazy Saturday and I was bored of being at home, so I walked with my curriculum book for a walk and a goal to finish my reading assignment. As you must have seen a glimpse of my neighborhood, it is an example of nature's serene beauty . I love to walk along the canal anytime of the day. I was tempted to enter Starbucks as I passed by though I don't drink a lot of coffee. Retro music playing at the backdrop and people forming a line every ten minutes, kept the service people busy. I found a spot for myself at the near corner of the room, cozy, comfortable, far away from hindrances. It was refreshing to watch strangers, placing their order, finding their new flavors. An elderly couple spending beautiful time together was a delight to watch. The best thing you can ask for is peace, which i could find amid-st the crowded atmosphere. And nobody will ask you to leave just as you finish your coffee. Reading a paragraph, sipping on my coffee, watching new people gave me a refreshment.

This is my suggestion for those who feel cluttered by everyday monotony, take a break, spend time alone with nature and novelty. You will be able to clear up your mind, start up fresh with a jump start.

“I am here for you “

We run for our lives, to make a living, to make a better living, to make more money, we are ready to leave our homeland for better prospects. It seems exciting at the beginning to survive until we encounter with a block or a little downfall.
In our busy lives, we sometimes forget the importance of relationships. Both husband and wife are working in most of the homes, as the needs have grown and toil day and night to make the ends meet. We take people for granted, hurt their feelings and don’t care for it until we are in need of their favor. When we are down with fever and unable to move even a muscle, a soul will be waiting beside you to touch your forehead and check the temperature. When you might feel it would be great if somebody cares for us, their eyes will reply you- “I am here for you”. This is what we ultimately need in a relation, their mere presence will give us strength and energy to shove away the blanket and take on our life.

Whatever life gives me
I will make it better for you,
I will make it easier for you
In times of distress and sickness
In times of success and happiness
I will always be here when,
you turn around in search of me.

P.S: A dedication to my loving Husband.

Mood swings?? It might be an idle mind!!

Are you getting angry over petty stuffs? Feel like taking on an argument for it? Are you hyperventilating? Digging your past memories to support your standpoint? RED Alert!!!
Do not continue to argue. Move out of the situation, drink water to cool you down, take a deep breath. Give it a break. Sit down and think what made you to argue over an insignificant situation.
There might be a lot of reasons,
  • health related
  • stressful life
but if it is not either of these, it might be an idle mind. This is what they call “An idle mind, is a devil's workshop”. Is it an end of a holiday? You might not want to get into the groove of routine. Make a pledge to work on something, to change your mood. There might be stuffs to be cleaned in the house, or a long pending hobby to be done with, or a call to a friend that has been postponed over the blame of routine. Involve these activities and when you are done, your mind will tell you why you reacted in that way.
Hope this works as a part of anger-management.
Be Happy!! Cheers!!

Can We? Yes we can!!

----->>>>>>

Killing time trying to find out what to do with my life had swallowed a couple of years in my life; It seemed to be an excuse to stay idle. It had been a long wait and there it was at a reachable height. I had to stretch myself to to meet the goals for a short time, I did and it was an experience to move out of my shell and explore the world. It was a fun period and I dint want it to end as every student would crave for the school to keep going on at the verge if final exams. I had a sense of accomplishment and am proud of myself. I and had something to speak for myself. Was waiting to meet my friends and share my experience with them. I loved doing this and I hope I experience fun, joy with responsibility.

All these time my blog was in hibernation and was waiting for me to wake it up. Though I dint find time to write down my thoughts, I could hear its call to revisit.

P.S: People who want to do something with your lives after a break, please don’t consider as an advise. See this as a spark which would give you ignition. All We need to do is to force ourselves to take the first step shedding our fear of accomplishment and inhibition. Then the world will open its doors of opportunities.

Best Marriage Proposal.. I think so too...

Marriages are mostly arranged according to our custom and tradition. But with the influence of western culture, Love marriages are increasing exponentially. Here is an interesting video that i came across from Yahoo. I am not sure how many of you have seen this before my post. I really loved the way the guy proposed and was so dramatic like a movie, that it has gained the tag "The Best Marriage Proposal Ever". Though it was the western culture of proposal, it impressed me due to the guy's respect to girl's family. Hope this will make you smile wider and wider moving till the end. And this can be used by the guys who are planning to propose!! Best wishes all out there!! Get Inspired :)

Amazing Facts - Heart!!!

Heart!! Everyone of us have heart to pump blood and also to love. Here are some interesting facts about heart that will make us fall in love with our heart all over again....

-An adult woman's heart weighs about 8 ounces, a man's about 10 ounces.
-The heart begins beating at four weeks after conception and does not stop until death.
-A child's heart is about the size of a clenched fist; an adult's heart is about the size of two fists.
-A kitchen faucet would need to be turned on all the way for at least 45 years to equal the amount of blood pumped by the heart in an average lifetime.
-Every day, the heart creates enough energy to drive a truck 20 miles. In a lifetime, that is equivalent to driving to the moon and back.
-Because the heart has its own electrical impulse, it can continue to beat even when separated from the body, as long as it has an adequate supply of oxygen.
-The heart does the most physical work of any muscle during a lifetime. The power output of the heart ranges from 1-5 watts.
-Grab a tennis ball and squeeze it tightly: that’s how hard the beating heart works to pump blood
-Your heartbeats with enough strength to shoot blood a distance of 30 feet.

A hearty laugh - the kind that sends a stream of tears from your eyes - does more than warm the soul. Research has shown the guffaw can cause the lining of blood vessel walls called endothelium to relax, increasing blood flow for up to 45 minutes after the laugh attack. Damage to the endothelium can lead to the narrowing of blood vessels and eventually cardiovascular diseases.

Stages of my love life :)

As we hear love, it rings a bell letting the butterfly flutter from our hearts to the person we love. This might not be the person of opposite sex or an alluring teenage. We have been cherished by love and been growing with it. Every person comes through love in many ways. Here are my stages of love which has made me today.

First love is “AMMA” who is our source to this earthly paradise. She bears us since we were a tiny spec of life to till date. Once a baby forms in the womb, a women’s life is all directed to the new coming ones. She eats for us, prays for us, and brings us out risking her own life. She teaches us every single new thing in this world. Me being the only child, she forgave her career for my sake. She stood by my side cherishing me, supporting me, making me happy in every way she could. She still stands as my source of inspiration and example to be a better person.

Second comes “APPA”. Introduced by mother, he is an abode of sacrifice. He has been responsible of a big family after my grandfather’s demise, he started to work, save and give for the family first seconding him. After I came into his life, I became his first priority. He has never denied any of my wishes those were right for me. He would celebrate even my very little success to an Oscar. He has been my good friend. There were days when he would come back from work and I would be jumping to the doorstep to see him and narrate the entire happenings of the day no sooner did he enter the house. We used to go for long walks during weekends exploring unknown routes in neighborhood. Chiding me for my mistakes first and explaining me my fault was the best. He would enlighten me the right way so that I would not go to the wrong way. He is my great support for my strength and endurance.
Schooling is a beautiful period of ignorance being bliss. So many friends around that would make the school an exciting place in spite of knuckle breaking home works. Though I have come across many friends in school, there is one very good friend of mine called Swarna. We studied together for 4 years, third to sixth grade and then I had to move out of town. She had been in touch with me every now and then till date, sharing our lives together in the warmth of love and friendship.
Here comes college, a stage when we could feel the shackles break open letting us to taste the flavor of freedom. Starting from crushes, infatuation, chat friend, the list goes on with many people entering and exiting their ways. Amidst all these I found my set of friends whom I used to hang out with in class, after hours and at the hostel. Many friendships start building but only a few last after years. I have to mention my roommate whom I have had bitter fights many times. Yet we had the maturity to stand for each other during each other’s tough times and lasting till date. Other friends are from two sets that have made my beautiful college days memorable for lifetime. Life goes on after college, people get busy with their own priorities, but the love we shared in college keeps the relationship lingering in my memories though we might not be able to stay in touch as before.

Finally is my current stage where I have taken the role of a wife. Marriage was an exciting period, especially the courtship period waiting the d-day and trying to push the days by spending almost the entire day through the phone. Sharing becomes interesting and exhilarating when it is with the person we love. Getting to know each other, celebrating love in every little aspect, cherishing and appreciating each other has been the being since one year. Beginning at enjoying the little non-sense talks or PJs, making it at the last moment and celebrating it as a success in a race, calling our parents to show our home, new exciting things, creating a memorabilia for special occasions, till the good nights and cuddling before sleep are the every moment I cherish in this period of love. Love is in the air all the time in between the hurry burry, small tiffs and boredom. This relationship of love has given me the maturity to understand the other relationship better.

Love makes the world go round. Love has taught me the importance of relationship. It might seem like a hyperbole, but just love can fetch us happiness. Wondering how? Even if we come across a disaster, right support from our loved ones, trust and encouragement can help us recover and spring back to the next step. In this busy life, where people don’t even have time to greet each other, space
out some time for love. You will feel the significance of life and lucky to be alive.

Our first Step together!!

Strangers were we sometime back
Tracing life on our own path;
Then we met in the name of matrimony
Beginning to search our future hand in hand.

There were times we yearned to see each other
Separated by long distance
Now we are in each other’s arms
Enjoying the marital bliss

I knew I was leaving my roots
To start a new chapter of life
But you replaced the most
Precious people in my life

You are my mother when you care
And my father when you recognize
You cherish me amidst your busyness
And understand my weakness

Today we have crossed a year
Giving us more of you and me
Knowing better and wanting each other
Overcoming our differences

I owe you these verses
As my love for you
To stand by your side
To reach our life’s pinnacle.

This is a tribute to my loving husband!

5 ways to Amplify Happiness:

Happiness is in us. We have been created with all emotions impregnated in our nerves and tissues.
“Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions
-Dalai Lama”
Life is a bumpy forest ride for each one of us, confronting the hidden enemies, overcoming the tough trail to reach the sanctuary to feel the peace and protection. Test of time might kick us into a dark burrow. Climbing up to reach the surface is for what we have been vested with power. Happiness is not lost when we are confronting a difficulty. It is when; we are going to experience it in multiplied quantity on overcoming the situation. Just as we train our muscles we can train our brain to be happy. Here are few tips to maximize happiness

5. Go with the flow:
This is the concept of being wholly involved in an activity. Let it be anything which takes you through its stride like a tiring match of tennis, or gardening. Engage in something that correlates to your personal strength and gives room to improve upon it.

4. Appreciate little things:

While you are on your way back home, take time to enjoy the beautiful sunset rather than listening to a radio along with the horns.
Make others feel better by saying “Thank You” for the little help they offer.
Jot down things you are grateful to relax.

3. Stay Positive:
You can’t just wait to be happy. Look out how to be happy and find ways to improve your life. And when it takes longer for the bend on the road or the silver lining, you need to look harder for it and keep trying. Persistence and positivity will shower happiness.

2. Connect with your localities:
Happiness in old age is related to the bond shared with friends and relatives. We always need someone to cling on, pat us when we are down. So build a community. Happiness can also be reaped by helping others. It is the joy of giving.

1. Get fit:
A healthy mind needs a healthy body. Exercise is said to reduce the stress hormone and will increase happiness. A regular workout of at least half an hour a day will improve positive feelings.

Perspective turnover at the First Encounter:

A refreshing, much-awaited, long time dreamt period for every girl. Entry of a so called stranger into my life, gave a new experience for lifetime. A sense of objection, trying to pull me back from opening up, something tells me from within to watch out, be matured, give your best impression, and though have never been clever enough to be so. To the surprise, the first conversation ever, brought the sense of ease, broke the ice barrier, and gave a friendly impression of the person. Though was angry as I had to miss the get-together with my friends and he was the sole reason for it, these thoughts vanished after the first conversation. Was he smart enough to impress me or do I really like him from within? This kept ringing in my mind. The sense of nervousness to meet my future in-laws, a fear of rejection, preparing my mind to take up anything was the toughest task. Well-wishers advising the way I should present myself, things to be clarified, suggestions to speak with him, my inner voice agitating me and the mind trying to control me. There came the awaited ones, amongst the fanfare created by my kith and kin. I was eager to look at him in person, a sigh of relief bringing me closer to him. The second barrier is also shattered, his friendly nature and gesture put me at ease, a very amicable person and friendly to hang out with, was the impression he inscribed in me. It was an impact, was it because of the gaga created by my kinsmen or have I really been floored by his entry? Nothing occurred as per the fear; everything had fallen into place as it has been destined to. My in-laws were happy with me, my fellow men awaiting my green signal, my foremost priority of friendliness was fulfilled and I too passed on with a green signal.
It all started there, though only the first step was completed, we felt very good with each other and started conversing over the phone. The excitement was at its pinnacle about the new relation in the pipeline, both of us were ready to open up and give out our views about our perspective of life. It was surprising to know that he was almost the same as me, this changed the first perspective of me and I was not a believer of horoscope and stuff. We were told that our horoscopes matched for about 90%, i.e., the maximum extent possible. It was when I started believing in destiny and time. Everything fell right into place and I started looking forward to life, having been hit by recession, rejection and disappointment, I was leading to life just for the sake. This new change of route brought a refreshing change in me, started to learn my future aspects, like cooking, house maintenance, understanding my guy, giving him the best company he expects out of me. This start has given me a good reason to live my life to the fullest with new hopes and beliefs. Every girl will encounter this excitement and it is truly a golden period and will help to prepare for the next stage of life. A period of instability creating a potpourri of emotions and causing the fleet of butterflies in stomach. A new person’s entry into our life and the fear of leaving my parents fighting in my heart. This is the best and exciting part of women’s life.
